WALL FURNACES & GARAGE HEATERS

North Star installs Rinnai wall furnaces and Lennox LF25 garage heaters. Perfect solutions for supplemental heating without requiring a boiler and piping or a furnace and ductwork.

WHAT WE OFFER

North Star currently offers two types of solutions: Rinnai direct vent wall furnaces and Lennox hanging radiant heaters. Both of these options can be used to heat a garage or external buildings such as sheds and workshops. However, the wall furnaces can also be used inside of living spaces to provide comfortable heating for your home as well.

WALL FURNACE

Rinnai direct vent wall furnaces (EX models) have been an increasing seller for us at North Star. They are compact units but produce enough heat to keep you warm on the coldest of days. Available in white or beige, these units sit along the inside of an exterior wall and vent directly outside. With an easy natural gas or propane connection, these units are relatively quick to install.

Rinnai Direct Vent Wall Furnaces offer consistent, even heating. Its unique technology monitors room temperature and adjusts immediately to maintain your pre-set temperature. This keeps your space at a comfortable heat without big temperature swings. Furthermore, these wall furnaces are equipped with a variable-speed blower that circulates warm air throughout the space for consistent warmth.

Key features in the design of these units include onboard diagnostics that simplify troubleshooting if there were ever an issue; auto restart so if you experience a power outage, the unit will resume normal operations; it is cool to touch; and has a control panel lock that prevents unintended operation.

These units also come with a 10 year warranty on the heat exchanger, as well as 5 years on parts, so you can have piece of mind knowing your product is going to last. We sell these units from as small as 8,000BTU to up to 38,000BTU.

various APPLICATIONS

These wall furnaces are extremely versatile. We have a had customers install these for a variety of reasons and uses. Listed are a few them.

  • Main heat. For multi-storied homes, they would install a unit for each level. Better suited for open-floor plans.

  • Secondary heat. For customer's who burn wood for heating, they have installed these heaters as worry-free backup for if they are ever away.

  • Additional heat. For customer's who have built additions onto their homes that their current heating system can't adequately service, such as sunrooms.

  • Supplemental heat. For customer's without adequate heat in their basement to protect their pipes, or without adequate heat on an upper floor, we have put in units to supplement their current heating system if completely upgrading it is not an option.

  • Intermittent usage. For customers who only need to heat their cabins, camps, and sometimes homes on rarer occasions (e.g. hunting/fishing weekend), we have had a few customers have smaller units installed that can hook up to smaller, portable propane sources.

  • Garage and workshop heating. In cases where there is space for a heater to be installed along the wall, these units have been very effective.

GARAGE HEATER

Lennox's unit heater - the LF25 model - is the garage heating solution for those with limited space or do not want to take up any more floor space. These units hang and have 180 degree installation position capability, which allows the installer to change the direction of airflow without having to move the utilities. This feature is available in the 30,000-105,000 BTU sizes units. The unit itself is designed to make installation as easy as possible, including the sidewall venting capability that allows venting to go out a wall instead of through your roof.

LF25 unit heaters are efficient and feature a dimpled tubular heat exchanger design that exposes every inch of it to heating the air stream - no corners for heat air to miss. This design also minimizes air resistance, allowing for reliable and even heating. Lennox's unit heaters are some of the quietest garage heaters available, with an improved chassis, mounting grill, and fan components to help with noise production. These heaters are also equipped with a control board with LED diagnostic codes to make troubleshooting a breeze if an issue were to arise.

If you are looking for a suspended unit heater for your garage, look no further than Lennox's LF25 unit heater!
